Full-Size John Deere Model "70 Row-Crop" Tractor

Just as the John Deere Model "50" and Model "60" Tractors were introduced in 1952 to replace the Model "A" and "B" tractors, the Model "70" was introduced in 1953 as a replacement for the Model "G" Tractor.

The John Deere Model "70" Row-Crop Tractor with gasoline engine delivered 33 horsepower at the drawbar and 43 horsepower at the belt pulley.  It also featured "live" hydraulic power.

This model is considered the "Collector's Edition" of the Model "70" Tractor.  It is marked on the body of the left side of the tractor with the words "1991 Special Edition".
