John Deere bought the Waterloo Engine Company that started producing the Waterloo Boy in 1913. Deere continued manufacturing it until 1924, when Deere has developed a new design, the Model D. The Waterloo Boy had a two-cylinder water-cooled engine that ran on kerosene. There were different models and styles.
