Deere Model “G” Styled Tractor
The Model “G” tractor brought 3-plow power to big row-crop
farms in the late 1930s. During World War II, it was styled and renamed “GM”.
In 1947, horsepower was boosted by a third, electric starting became available,
and the tractor was called “G” again.
Throughout its production, 1938 to 1953, the “G” was available only with
an “all-fuel” engine. This model depicts
the 1947 to 1953 Model “G”.
